Testing Macro Extension Tube

Fixing three extension to the 70mm lens

about ten times closer than the original 70mm lens with the tube.

another photo. This tube can even auto focus and in body aperture control with nikkor AF-D / AF-S lens.

the only thing is the tube not function correctly with lens below 70mm focal length. It came out with a white spot in the middle of the lens if using lens below 70mm.

here is another proved of white spot using 50mm prime lens.

The Restaurant that served one of the best nasi lemak and western grill at Sek 16 PJ. Kinda pricey too.

this famous talk about nasi lemak turned out to be quite overrated but for the sambal, it's the best so far.
RM11.80 is too pricey only for the taste of the super nice sambal.

Today is my replacement leave for Deepavali that fall on Saturday. Since nothing to do, i went for a camera window shopping (Touch N’ Go) :)

Here are those photos i took during my day trip from KL to Ipoh which i personally like it. Not ever much taken this time. The weather not good for photo taking on that day.

Shoot in NEF Raw File. Good thing about the raw file are the latency and threshold of the color is huge for post processing.

Day trip from KL to Ipoh on 2009-10-10. Having our brunch at the wantan noodle stall nearby my house. Operated by on of my long long friend quite famous @Pudu, business since 40years ago by his father. Ahhh… the photo is with keith’s camera a Nikon D90 with the lens i lent (AF-S 24-70mm F2.8).
Finish our brunch about 12pm we move from there all the way to Bidor for the famous Duck noodle…heehe photos at keith’s camera too…
Making some new friends at the fruits stall. Quite a comwhore !!! best thing is the ask for our facebook!! hahaha never look down on small towner.

ya, i met up with a long lost buddy on a wonderful night, having 14 bottles tiger beer. chat about our life, the things that we've been thru good, bad or even misunderstand times and i found that he's mellow down a lot. he's a better man now. after 20 years of friendship i finally realise that this friendship is really worth it, i really appreciate this friend. whatever it is, forgive, forget or for reminiscence. what i unexpected is we still very compatible.

Digging my Hard Drive found one of the Nikon D40 i owned for about 2month (bough it used) sold it to one of my good friend later. Equipped with full frame lens 24-85mm (original kitlen is 18-55mm).

Bubble the long forgotten Beagle since Gary&Joyce eh..... and Vera moved to NZ few month ago on may2009. Bubble now resided at P.J. staying with Joyce's mom and Boyce. Wondering how's she doing there, missed her annoying naughty jumping from the Mable table (at one time sprain her back bone). I think bubble misses our Dunhill and Peter smell + coffee ice too >.<

it's hard to achieve perfect Low Key photo but with photoshop everything possible. Minor adjustment on level and saturation with some dodge and burn.

Setting: side strobe lighting

Shutter: 1/250 the purpose to set high x-sync is the eliminate the ambient light for the strobe to take side light in effect. (my camera x-sync can go 1/320)

Aperture: F14.

Focal Length: 70mm.

Hey, got a nice photo last friday (2009-09-18) around 6.30pm on the way back from work.
Not because of the photo. i focus, zoom, set from aperture to shutter all by guessing !! and the best thing is, it came out just precisely what i wanted.
Back to those films era photography is like, u donno what u get till u developed it, clicking every shutter counts.
When digital implemented all of this excitement gone.
Try this out and i am sure it bring thrill to your photography.

p/s: Don't even bother to look at the camera screen for the result till u get home. do it all manually by guessing.
